Has anyone here installed Paint Protective Film (PPF)?

  1. Is it worth the money?
  2. Which areas of your car did you have covered (e.g., front only, bottom of rear doors, entire car)?
  3. What was the rough cost?
  4. Which local installer(s) would you recommend?
  5. Were there any accessories that you had installed during the process (e.g., mud flaps, logos, etc.)?
  6. Did you have ceramic coating applied over the PPF?
  7. Do you have any advice related to PPF installation?

Thanks in advance!

I have gotten this installed by David Solar Protection 352-408-6385. I got the entire exterior of the cat, plus ceramic coating for around $3000. Well worth it.

I think its worth it, especially because I drive the car back and forth as a snowbird.  Tesla has a rather unique front bumper as we all know so paint chips show much more than on a vehicle with a typical grille.  I had the entire front done, not the whole car, so that means bumper, entire hood, mirrors, rockers and behind each wheel for around $1800.  I have a new Tesla on order and I will do this again.  My PPF was Eastman's product and has a 10 year warranty.  3M also is a big supplier.  The film is 'Self healing' as well.
